New Optos Monaco Retinal Imaging Camera

​We got delivery of our new Optos Monaco Retinal Imaging Camera with OCT.


This state-of -the-art instrument takes 2 images:
The first one can capture the entire retina without having to dilate your eyes!

The second image is like an ultrasound, but it uses lights instead of sound.
​This resulting image is a cross section of the retina.


With this new technology, the doctor will review the images in the exam room with you looking for any eye disease, such as glaucoma, macular degeneration and retinal detachment.


The doctor is also looking for eye damage caused by diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, cholesterol and cancer.
